PARTY TIME!!!

Yesterday was Colby's 1st bday party! It went really well...except the fact it didn't go at all how I had planned! I only got to use about 1/4 of the decorations I got for his party ( it was too windy) , But all the food tasted great. We did cake/cupcakes and an ice cream sundae bar. (yummy). We had a good time and had our wonderful friends and family there to celebrate! Colby got a TON of gifts...now we need a bigger house to hold them all.

He loves his bday present!

We got Colbs a Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn House for part of his bday presents. I was worried about getting a boy a "play house" but Im so glad we did....He loves it!!! I cant wait for his bday party this weekend!!!!!
(excuse the dirty face and no shirt...it was right after dinner)

Happy 1st Birthday Colby

Happy 1st Birthday my sweet baby boy! You have grown so much in your first year of life. We watch you grow everyday and feel so blessed to be your mommy and daddy. You are so cute no matter what your doing (yes even crying). I think back to this time last year when I was in labor and when your were born, my how you have grown. I love so much being your mommy and cant wait for all your next birthdays~

For your actual birthday, we had a super fun day! Daddy took off work and we hung out as a family..
Daddy made your fav breakfast - pancakes
You got to play with your new fisher price play house!
We went to the park to play
then we went to the mall to play at the play area and do some bday shopping
then it was home for a nap
Daddy made your fav dinner - bbq chicken
Then after some more playing mommy nursed you to sleep (like she does every night!)

April 29th

This kid loves his pasta! I found these little tiny pasta stars (i mean tiny tiny stars) and been cooking them for Colby. He doesnt really like "baby food" anymore...he wants what we are eating!
He has now had:
Cake
Ice Cream
Pasta
Chicken
Steak
Porkchops
Enchiladas
Roast Beef
Fish
and all the fruits and veggies!

He has also really started to enjoy reading time! Thats when he is not eating the book!!
